English Translation

ʿAffān narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, my father narrated to me, that a man told him that he asked ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn about a man who vowed not to attend prayer in a mosque. ʿImrān said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There is no vow made in anger, and its expiation is the expiation of an oath."’
