حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنّ
َهُ سَأَلَ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَذَرَ أَنْ لَا يَشْهَدَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي مَسْجِدٍ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا نَذْرَ فِي غَضَبٍ وَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, ʿAbd al-Wārith narrated to us, Muḥammad ibn al-Zubayr narrated to us, my father narrated to me, that a man told him that he asked ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn about a man who vowed not to attend prayer in a mosque. ʿImrān said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There is no vow made in anger, and its expiation is the expiation of an oath."’
