Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهُ أَوْ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, Mahdī narrated to us, Ghaylan narrated to us, from Muṭarrif, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, that the Prophet ﷺ asked him — or asked a man while he was present: “Did you fast anything from the last days of this month?” He said: ‘No.’ He said: “Then when you break your fast, fast two days.”
