English Translation
Ismā‘īl ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Bahz ibn Ḥakīm, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ of Allāh ﷺ saying: “For every freely-grazing camels, for every forty there is a bint labūn (a two-year-old she-camel). Camels are not to be separated from their count. Whoever gives it seeking reward shall have his reward. Whoever withholds it, we shall take it along with half of his camels as a determined obligation from the determined obligations of our Lord tabāraka wa ta‘ālā. None of it is lawful for the family of Muḥammad.”
