حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ أَبَرُّ قَالَ أُمَّكَ قُلْ
تُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ أُمَّكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ أُمَّكَ قَالَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَبَاكَ ثُمَّ الْأَقْرَبَ فَالْأَقْرَبَ

English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, Bahz ibn Ḥakīm ibn Mu‘āwiyah narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I said: ‘O Messenger of Allāh, whom should I treat with the most kindness?’ He said: ‘Your mother.’ I said: ‘Then who?’ He said: ‘Your mother.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allāh, then who?’ He said: ‘Your mother.’ I said: ‘Then who?’ He said: ‘Then your father, then the nearest in relation, then the next nearest.’”
