English Translation

Yaḥyā ibn Sa‘īd narrated to us, Bahz narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from my grandfather, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ saying: “For every freely-grazing camels, for every forty there is a bint labūn. Camels are not to be separated from their count. Whoever gives it seeking reward shall have his reward. Whoever withholds it, we shall take it along with half of his camels as a determined obligation from the determined obligations of our Lord tabāraka wa ta‘ālā. None of it is lawful for the family of Muḥammad.”
