حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُ

رَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَامُ أَبُو الْعَرَبِ وَحَامُ أَبُو الْحَبَشِ وَيَافِثُ أَبُو الرُّومِ

English Translation
‘Abd al-Wahhāb narrated to us, from Sa‘īd, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah, that the Prophet ﷺ of Allāh ﷺ said: “Sām is the father of the Arabs, Ḥām is the father of the Abyssinians, and Yāfith is the father of the Romans.”
