حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَحُسَيْنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا نَضْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأْخُذُهُ النَّارُ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأْخُذُهُ النَّارُ إِلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأْخُذُهُ النَّارُ إِلَى حُجْزَتِهِ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَأْخُذُهُ النَّارُ إِلَى تَرْقُوَتِهِ
English Translation
Yūnus ibn Muḥammad and Ḥusayn narrated to us, both saying: Shaybān narrated to us, from Qatādah — and I heard Abū Naḍrah narrating from Samurah ibn Jundub that he heard the Prophet ﷺ of Allāh ﷺ saying: “Among them are those whom the Fire takes to their ankles, among them are those whom it takes to their knees, among them are those whom it takes to their waist, and among them are those whom it takes to their collarbone.”
