حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ

عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ وَمَنْ اغْتَسَلَ فَذَاكَ أَفْضَلُ

English Translation
‘Alī ibn ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us, Yazīd ibn Zuray‘ narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Whoever performs wuḍū’, that is well and good. And whoever performs ghusl, that is better.”
