حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ يَعْنِي أَبَا زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ الَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَذِنَ فِي النَّبِيذِ بَعْدَ مَا نَهَى عَنْهُ مُنْذِرٌ أَبُو حَسَّانَ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ خَالَفَ الْحَجَّاجَ فَقَدْ خَالَفَ
English Translation
‘Abd al-Ṣamad narrated to us, Thābit — meaning Abū Zayd — narrated to us, ‘Āṣim narrated to us, mentioning that the one who reported that the Prophet ﷺ permitted nabīdh after having prohibited it was Mundhir Abū Ḥassān, who mentioned it from Samurah ibn Jundub. And he [Mundhir] used to say that whoever opposed al-Ḥajjāj had indeed opposed [the truth].
