حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

عَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

English Translation
‘Amr ibn al-Haytham Abū Qaṭan narrated to us, Hishām narrated to us, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “If two guardians give a woman in marriage, she belongs to the first of them. And if a man sells a sale to two men, it belongs to the first of them.”
