حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَ
ن أَبِي مُوسَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْرَضُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَلَاثَ عَرَضَاتٍ فَأَمَّا عَرْضَتَانِ فَجِدَالٌ وَمَعَاذِيرُ وَأَمَّا الثَّالِثَةُ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ تَطِيرُ الصُّحُفُ فِي الْأَيْدِي فَآخِذٌ بِيَمِينِهِ وَآخِذٌ بِشِمَالِهِ

English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, from ʿAlī ibn al-Mubārak, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from Abū Qilābah, from Abū Mūsā, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'There are three presentations on the Day of Judgment. As for two presentations, they involve argumentation and excuses. As for the third presentation, the records of deeds will fly into the hands — some in the right hand and some in the left hand.'
