حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الدَّجَّالَ خَارِجٌ وَهُوَ أَعْوَرُ عَيْنِ الش
ِّمَالِ عَلَيْهَا ظَفَرَةٌ غَلِيظَةٌ وَإِنَّهُ يُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَيُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَيَقُولُ لِلنَّاسِ أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَمَنْ قَالَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي فَقَدْ فُتِنَ وَمَنْ قَالَ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ فَقَدْ عُصِمَ مِنْ فِتْنَتِهِ وَلَا فِتْنَةَ بَعْدَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَا عَذَابَ فَيَلْبَثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَام مِنْ قِبَلِ الْمَغْرِبِ مُصَدِّقًا بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى مِلَّتِهِ فَيَقْتُلُ الدَّجَّالَ ثُمَّ إِنَّمَا هُوَ قِيَامُ السَّاعَةِ

English Translation
Rawḥ narrated to us, Sa‘īd narrated to us, and ‘Abd al-Wahhāb informed us, Sa‘īd informed us, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah ibn Jundub: the Prophet ﷺ of Allah ﷺ used to say: ‘The Dajjāl will emerge, and he is blind in the left eye, with a thick film over it. He will cure the blind and the leper and bring the dead to life, and he will say to the people: I am your Lord. Whoever says: You are my Lord, has been put to trial. And whoever says: My Lord is Allah until he dies, no trial shall befall him, nor any punishment. He will remain as long as Allah wills him to remain. Then ‘Īsā ibn Maryam عليهما السلام will come from the west, affirming Muḥammad ﷺ and upon his religion, and he will kill the Dajjāl. Then it will only be the establishment of the Hour.’
