حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْفٌ وَهَوْذَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْخٌ مِنْ بَكْرِ بْن
ِ وَائِلٍ فِي مَجْلِسِ قَسَامَةٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَمُرَةَ وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ دَوَائِكُمْ الْحِجَامَةَ

English Translation
Isḥāq ibn Yūsuf narrated to us, ‘Awf informed us, and Hawdhah narrated to us, ‘Awf narrated to us, an elder man from Bakr ibn Wā’il in the sitting of a qasāmah (oath-taking tribunal) narrated to us, who said: I came to Samurah while he was having cupping performed, and he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘Among the best treatments you use is cupping.’
