حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَن بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَ
ن رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ لَقَدْ صَلَّى بِنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ صَلَاةً ذَكَّرَنَا بِهَا صَلَاةً كُنَّا نُصَلِّيهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِمَّا أَنْ نَكُونَ نَسِينَاهَا وَإِمَّا أَنْ نَكُونَ تَرَكْنَاهَا عَمْدًا يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ

English Translation
Ḥasan narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Burayd ibn Abī Maryam, from a man of Banū Tamīm, from Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī who said: ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib رضي الله تعالى عنه once led us in a prayer that reminded us of a prayer we used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — either we had forgotten it or we had intentionally abandoned it — he would say the takbīr with every rising and lowering, and every standing and sitting.
