حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ وَرَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ قَالَا ثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَن غُنَيْمِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّه
ِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَوْحٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ غُنَيْمًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ اسْتَعْطَرَتْ ثُمَّ مَرَّتْ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ لِيَجِدُوا رِيحَهَا فَهِيَ زَانِيَةٌ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Wāḥid and Rawḥ ibn ʿUbādah narrated to us, they said: Thābit ibn ʿUmārah narrated to us, from Ghunaym ibn Qays, from Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said — Rawḥ said: I heard Ghunaym say: I heard Abū Mūsā say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Any woman who perfumes herself and then passes by a gathering so that they may smell her fragrance — she is an adulteress.’
