حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ الشَّحَّامُ حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَك

Body (Matn)

ْرَةَ وَسَأَلَهُ هَلْ سَمِعْتَ فِي الْخَوَارِجِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَالِدِي أَبَا بَكْرَةَ يَقُولُ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَا إِنَّهُ سَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَقْوَامٌ أَشِدَّاءُ أَحِدَّاءُ ذَلِقَةٌ أَلْسِنَتُهُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ تَرَاقِيَهُمْ أَلَا فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمْ فَأَنِيمُوهُمْ ثُمَّ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمْ فَأَنِيمُوهُمْ فَالْمَأْجُورُ قَاتِلُهُمْ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: 'Listen — from my nation will emerge people who are severe, sharp, their tongues are smooth with the Quran but it does not pass their collarbones. When you see them, kill them; then if you see them again, kill them.'
