English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When two Muslims face each other with their swords and one kills the other, both the killer and the killed are in the Fire.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this is the killer — but what about the killed?' He said: 'He was intending to kill his companion.'
