English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When two Muslims face each other with their swords, both of them intending to kill the other, and one kills the other, both are in the Fire.' It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, this is the killer — but what about the killed?' He said: 'Because he intended to kill his companion.'
