‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏سُفْيَانُ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْأَغَرِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏جَدِّهِ ‏ ‏قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ ‏ ‏وَسِدْرٍ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Qays ibn 'Asim (may Allah be pleased with him) that he accepted Islam, and the Prophet ﷺ commanded him to perform ghusl with water and sidr (lote-tree leaves).
