English Translation

It was narrated from the father of Usama ibn Abi al-Malih that a man partially freed his slave, and the matter was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'He is to be freed completely — all of him, for there is no partial freedom. Allah is not thanked by half.'
