English Translation
It was narrated from 'Ubada ibn Qurs (or Qurt) (may Allah be pleased with him) through Abu Qatada that he said: 'You certainly do today deeds that are thinner in your eyes than a hair — we used to regard them in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as among the destroyers.' He said: I asked Abu Qatada: 'What would he say if he saw what people do today?' He remained silent.
