حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَبُولُ أَوْ قَدْ بَالَ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ رَدَّ عَلَيَّ
English Translation
It was narrated from al-Muhajir ibn Qunfudh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ was urinating, or had just urinated, when he greeted him. The Prophet did not return the greeting until he had performed ablution, then he returned it.
