Chain of Narration (Isnad)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَن سِمَاكٍ عَن جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ أَهْلَ بَيْتٍ كَانُوا بِالْحَرَّةِ مُحْتَاجِينَ فَمَاتَتْ عِنْدَهُمْ ن

َاقَةٌ لَهُمْ أَوْ بَعِيرٌ لَهُمْ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمْ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَكْلِهَا قَالَ فَعَصَمَتْهُمْ بَقِيَّةَ شِتَائِهِمْ أَوْ سَنَتِهِمْ

English Translation

It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samura (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver two sermons while standing, sitting in between them. He would recite from the Quran and remind the people. His sermons were not very long.
