حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْن

ِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ نَبَّأَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُؤَذِّنُ ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَلَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ حِينَ يَرَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samura (may Allah be pleased with him) that Bilal would call the adhan, then would not call the iqama until he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ emerge. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out, Bilal would immediately call the iqama.
