حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الشَّاعِرُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ أَنَا سَأَلْتُهُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ع
َنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ لَمَّا رَكَضَ زَمْزَمَ بِعَقِبِهِ جَعَلَتْ أُمُّ إِسْمَاعِيلَ تَجْمَعُ الْبَطْحَاءَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ هَاجَرَ أُمَّ إِسْمَاعِيلَ لَوْ تَرَكَتْهَا لَكَانَتْ مَاءً مَعِينًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Jibril struck Zamzam with his heel, Hajar the mother of Ismail began gathering the sand. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'May Allah have mercy on Hajar, the mother of Ismail — had she left it, it would have been a flowing spring.'
