English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man had a silver hilt on his sword and Abu Dharr forbade him from it. He said: "The Messenger of Allah دلوالله said: 'Any person who stores gold or silver will be branded with it.' And he said: 'What about iron or lead?' He replied: 'Those are also among the things stored.' He said: 'What about what we use for something useful?' He said: 'I did not say that.' He said: 'What about silk?' He said: 'Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.'"
