حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَ

وَانَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الصَّلَوَاتِ نَحْوًا مِنْ صَلَاتِكُمْ وَكَانَ يُؤَخِّرُ الْعَتَمَةَ بَعْدَ صَلَاتِكُمْ شَيْئًا وَكَانَ يُخَفِّفُ الصَّلَاةَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the prayers in a manner similar to your prayers today, but he would delay Isha somewhat beyond the time you pray it, and he would make the prayer short.'
