English Translation

It was narrated from Usama ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ß departed from Arafat while Usama was his pillion rider. He was restraining his mount so much that its neck almost touched its chest, while saying: 'O people, be calm! Piety (birr) is not achieved by rushing.'
