حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ يَمْسَحُ الْمُسَافِرُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ وَالْمُقِيمُ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً
English Translation
It was narrated from Khuzayma ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted wiping over leather socks for three days and nights for the traveler and one day and night for the resident.
