‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏إِسْمَاعِيلُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ يَقُولُ ‏ ‏يَمْسَحُ الْمُسَافِرُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ وَالْمُقِيمُ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Khuzayma ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted wiping over leather socks for three days and nights for the traveler and one day and night for the resident.
