حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَا ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ وَحَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللّ

َهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ وَثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهُنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Khuzayma ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet ﷺ that he set the wiping period over leather socks at three days for the traveler and one day for the resident.
