حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ

سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرِيَّةِ أَنْ تُؤْخَذَ بِمِثْلِ خَرْصِهَا تَمْرًا يَأْكُلُهَا أَهْلُهَا رُطَبًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ß granted a concession regarding the ariyya (gift palm) that it could be taken in exchange for its estimated amount in dates, to be eaten as fresh dates.
