English Translation
It was narrated from Zayd ibn Thabit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ß set up a small enclosure in the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah ß used to pray in it at night. The people came to know of this, so they gathered around him. Then one night the Messenger of Allah ß did not come out to them, and they raised their voices and threw pebbles at the screen. The Messenger of Allah ß came out to them in anger and said: "O people, you should pray in your homes, for the best of a man's prayer is in his home except for the obligatory prayers."'
