حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى
Body (Matn)
بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ فَإِنْ شَهِدَ دَفْنَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ الْقِيرَاطُ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ
English Translation
It was narrated from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever prays over a funeral will have a qirat of reward. If he witnesses the burial, he will have two qirats — and the qirat is like mount Uhud.'
