English Translation
It was narrated from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Who will guarantee me one thing, and I will guarantee him Paradise?' He said: 'I said: I will, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Do not ask people for anything.' So Thawban's whip would fall while he was riding and he would not say to anyone: hand it to me — he would dismount and pick it up himself.
