حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَيَعْلَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ سَالِ

مِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقِيمُوا وَلَنْ تُحْصُوا وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ خَيْرَ أَعْمَالِكُمْ الصَّلَاةُ وَلَا يُحَافِظُ عَلَى الْوُضُوءِ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ

English Translation

It was narrated from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Be upright, though you will not be able to count it all. Know that the best of your deeds is prayer, and only a believer maintains his wudu.'
