قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ الْجَرْمِيُّ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ شَدَّادَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ بَيْنَمَا هُوَ يَمْش
ِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَقِيعِ مَرَّ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَحْتَجِمُ بَعْدَ مَا مَضَى مِنْ رَمَضَانَ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ لَيْلَةً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in al-Baqi'. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was having himself cupped on the eighteenth night of Ramadan and said: 'Both the cupper and the one cupped have broken their fast.'
