‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏مَالِكٌ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏كَانَ ‏ ‏يُصَلِّي وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ ‏ ‏أُمَامَةَ بِنْتَ زَيْنَبَ ‏ ‏فَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَسَجَدَ وَضَعَهَا وَإِذَا قَامَ حَمَلَهَا ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray while carrying Umamah bint Zaynab. When he bowed and prostrated, he would put her down; and when he stood, he would carry her.
