‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏سُفْيَانُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ‏ ‏سَمِعَهُ مِنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ ‏ ‏سَمِعَهُ مِنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ‏ ‏أَصَابَ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ ‏ ‏يَعْنِي وَهُوَ ‏ ‏مُحِلٌّ ‏ ‏وَهُمْ مُحْرِمُونَ فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he hunted a wild donkey while he was not in ihram and the others were in ihram. They asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, and he commanded them to eat it.
