حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي مَعْبَ

دُ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَكَثْرَةَ الْحَلِفِ فِي الْبَيْعِ فَإِنَّهُ يُنَفِّقُ ثُمَّ يَمْحَقُ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Beware of swearing excessively in trade, for it may sell goods but then destroys blessings.'
