حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عُثَمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ سَمِعَ عَامِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّ

ى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَرْكَعْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ و حَدَّثَنَا مُرَّةُ فَقَالَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and saw a man sitting without having prayed two rak'ahs. He ﷺ said: 'Stand and pray two rak'ahs.'
