‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ‏ ‏أَنَّهُ قَتَلَ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْكُفَّارِ ‏ ‏فَنَفَّلَهُ ‏ ‏رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏سَلَبَهُ وَدِرْعَهُ فَبَاعَهُ بِخَمْسِ أَوَاقٍ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he killed a man from the disbelievers, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him the spoils of that man — his weapons and armor — as a reward.
