English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'No servant has been permitted anything better than two rak'ahs he prays. And goodness is scattered over the head of the servant as long as he is in his prayer. The servants have not drawn near to Allah with anything like what came from Him' — meaning the Quran.
