حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى عَنِ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ تَطَوُّعًا حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى عَنِ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will come rulers who will be preoccupied with things that cause them to delay the prayer beyond its time. So pray the prayer at its time.' A man asked: 'And if I catch up with them, should I pray with them?' He ﷺ said: 'If you wish.'
