حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَ

لَّامٍ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَاهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يُنَجِّي اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِهِ مِنْ الْهَمِّ وَالْغَمِّ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Fight in the path of Allah, for jihad in the path of Allah is a gate from the gates of Paradise through which Allah saves one from distress and grief.'
