English Translation
It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'We pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to hear and obey in what we dislike and what we like, in hardship and ease, in what we prefer and what is imposed upon us, and to speak justly wherever we are, not fearing any blame in the path of Allah.'
