قَالَ سَمِعْت سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ يُسَمِّي النُّقَبَاءَ ف

َسَمَّى عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ عُبَادَةُ عَقَبِيٌّ أُحُدِيٌّ بَدْرِيٌّ شَجَرِيٌّ وَهُوَ نَقِيبٌ

English Translation
It is recorded that 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) was present at the first pledge of 'Aqabah, at the Battle of Uhud, the Battle of Badr, the pledge under the tree, and was one of the twelve leaders (nuqaba') chosen by the Prophet ﷺ from the Ansar.
