حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِ

مٍ عَنْ حَرْبِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ يَقُولُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ النُّقَبَاءَ اثْنَا عَشَرَ فَسَمَّى عُبَادَةَ فِيهِمْ

English Translation
It is recorded that the Prophet ﷺ appointed twelve leaders (nuqaba') from the Ansar, and 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) was among them, responsible for representing and guiding his people.
