Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Sahl ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was asked how the wound of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was treated at the Battle of Uhud. He said: 'Ali would bring water in his shield and Fatimah would wash the blood from his face. Then a mat was taken and burned, and the ash was used to pack the wound to stop the bleeding.'
