حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا رَافِعُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَشْرَجُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ أُمِّ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةِ خَيْبَرَ وَأَنَا سَادِسُ سِتِّ نِسْوَةٍ فَبَلَغَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ مَعَهُ نِسَاءً فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ مَا أَخْرَجَكُنَّ وَبِأَمْرِ مَنْ خَرَجْت
ُنَّ فَقُلْنَا خَرَجْنَا نُنَاوِلُ السِّهَامَ وَنَسْقِي النَّاسَ السَّوِيقَ وَمَعَنَا مَا نُدَاوِي بِهِ الْجَرْحَى وَنَغْزِلُ الشَّعْرَ وَنُعِينُ بِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قُمْنَ فَانْصَرِفْنَ فَلَمَّا فَتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ خَيْبَرَ أَخْرَجَ لَنَا سِهَامًا كَسِهَامِ الرَّجُلِ قُلْتُ يَا جَدَّةُ مَا أَخْرَجَ لَكُنَّ قَالَتْ تَمْرًا

English Translation
It was narrated from the grandmother of Hashraj ibn Ziyad al-Ashja'i that she said: 'We went out to hand arrows and give the people sawiq to drink, and with us was what we needed to treat the wounded and spin wool to help in the path of Allah. He said: Stand and depart. Then when Allah granted him victory at Khaybar, he gave us shares like the shares of the men.' I asked: 'O grandmother, what did he give you?' She said: 'Dates.'
