Hadith #73
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ أَشَارَ رَسُولُ ا
للَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ نَحْوَ الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا الْإِيمَانُ هَاهُنَا وَإِنَّ الْقَسْوَةَ وَغِلَظَ الْقُلُوبِ فِي الْفَدَّادِينَ عِنْدَ أُصُولِ أَذْنَابِ الْإِبِلِ حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنَا الشَّيْطَانِ فِي رَبِيعَةَ وَمُضَرَ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointed his hand toward Yemen and said: 'Faith is here, faith is here. And indeed harshness and hardness of heart are found among those who shout loudly at the bases of camel tails — where the two horns of Shaytan rise — in Rabi'ah and Mudar.'
